Does your novel or creative non-fiction need an outside eye? Garden Director Carolyn Altman, MFA University of Nebraska in Writing, has worked as a manuscript editor for Pulitzer Prize nominee Tom Spanbauer, Northwest Booksellers Award Winner Joanna Rose, and shared a workshop table with Chuck Palahnuik (Fight Club) and many other notable writers. Her own creative work has been published in literary magazines, magazines, newspapers, online, and performed on stage and film. She wants to work with you to find the unique beauty of your writing and your writing process. Beginners through published writers welcome.
Item includes:
- Reading of up to 50 double-spaced, typewritten pages (Fewer are perfectly acceptable. It is often more useful to obtain feedback on fewer pages, as habits and strengths quickly make themselves apparent and discussion can focus on solutions;
- At least two hours of discussion of manuscript, to be conducted in one full session or two separate one-hour sessions after a revision.
