Description

Adam Teitelbaum worked with his wife out of their studio at the base of the Taos Mountain in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of northern New Mexico for eight years before returning to Denver in 2008. Adams's work has been shown in juried shows, galleries and museums as well as many private collections. His mask, Axis Mundi, loosely translated means "the center of all being,"  a concept represented in many cultures as a tree reaching for the heavens. He hand-sculpted and baked each polyform object. "This is our fourth Mask Project and each one has been an amazing event," he says. "Very rarely as artists do we get to make something so fun, for such a good cause."

This is a Live Event Item.
