Annette Shope is a mixed media artist and freelance writer in Denver. She attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and holds a B.S. in Communications, and serves on the board of directors of the Colorado Authors League. She is a grief minister. Her mask, "Another Pretty Face," has an art-deco feel in its glamorous design using red, white and blue acrylics, stamping techniques, decorative jewels and a black-and-white gel transfer. Sparkling eyes are at the heart of her vintage female image.
