Billy Thomson regarded by many as the best defensive back in Denver Broncos annals started 197 games for the Denver Broncos during his 13-year career from 1969-1981. He was a three-time Pro Bowl selection and was added to the Broncos Ring of Fame in 1987. Thomson was named All-NFL in 1977 and 1978 and finished his career with an all time Broncos record of 61 turnovers including 40 interceptions and 21 fumble recoveries.
