The Children's Hospital Frank Chang, M.D., is a University of Colorado professor of orthopaedic surgery working that The Children's Hospital since the early 1980s. The pediatric orthopaedic surgeon discusses with his young patients the theme of their casts and then custom decorates each cast with colorful sparkling designs. In 2006, Channel 7 recognized him as an "Every Day Hero" for his cast decorations. His mask, "Hearts and Stars" is made from standard fiberglass casting tape which he accented with glitter glue.
