James Scoppettone's contribution to contemporary American Impressionism has been recognized by collectors and curators throughout the world. Born in San Jose, Calif., he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Jose State and a graduate law degree, but his primary interest has always been art. He and his wife, Sherry, raised five children on a farm once owned by filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock.
