Jandel Allen-Davis has been working as a fabric quilter for 21 years. In 2003, she began painting bridal silk to use in her quilts. She also creates silk scarves and when she was invited to create a mask in 2006, another avenue of creative expression was born. In addition to being a wife and mother, she is an obstetrician/gynecologist and is Vice President for Governmental and External Relations for the Kaiser Permanente Colorado Region. Her mask is titled, "Sun Ra."
