Description
In 2003 Janet Day walked away from a 25-year journalism career to pursue her passion - textile arts. For years, she shook off the stress of being a reporter or editor at the Rocky Mountain News, Denver Post and Bloomberg News Service in NYC by making quilts. In 2003, she left NYC for Winter Park and founded Day Dream Crafts, finding her niche in creating one-of-a-kind pillows, quilts and gift bags that re-create vintage postcards, posters, ads and other images onto fabric that she fashions into quilts and other products. She used a vintage postcard on fabric to create her mask titled, Greetings from Colorado!
