Since early childhood, Colorado native Jay P. Snellgrove has had a profound interest in his surroundings. From the "interesting critters" he discovered while walking barefoot along the banks of Cherry Creek to the birds of prey he observed during family outings to national parks, Jay's love of all things natural and scientific helped shape his artistic style. Several of his pieces are on permanent exhibit at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and Invesco Field. Jay's illustrations grace the labels of Cru Vin Dogs wines. His love of dogs and what they give to us unconditionally inspired his mask created using pastel pencil.
