Denver artist Jessica Stockmyer says, "Growing up I was quite fond of art, and when I decided to major in accounting in college I knew that I needed another outlet." So she double majored in Art and Accounting with an emphasis on painting and Egyptian hieroglyphics at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.  She returned to Denver shortly after and completed her Master's degree in Accounting.  "I always make sure to have some canvases on hand in my studio at home just in case I need to release some stress and find my focus," says Jessica, a data analyst with The Denver Hospice.  "I find painting to be quite healing, so I was excited to help with The Mask Project this year!"
