Karen Miller's art work reflects the beauty of North Park, the valley in the orthern Colorado Mountains where she lives. She draws her inspiration from the ever-changing colors, patterns and light in nature. She works mainly in oils and pastels, but also has fun with watercolors from time to time. As well as enjoying plein air painting, portraits and commission work, she has written, illustrated and published a children's book about North Park: North Park Abc's.
