Kathy Arent holds BFA in painting and printmaking and is a member of the Mizel Museum Artists' Alliance. She has been involved for many years in various charitable events, including her 5th year with The Mask Project, The Channel Six auction, and the Artma Benefit. In 2006, she was honored to be featured artist at the Sarah Arndt Gale Fundraiser for Kent Denver. Kathy's love of animals has provided her another subject of explore the effects of light and its effect on colors. The patterns of the zebra and the butterfly provides the perfect blend of elements.
