Before admitting he was an artist, Kyle Banister owned and operated a successful sign and lettering company where for 20 years he used his talents to help others communicate and realize their dreams. In 2002, he pursued his own dream to become an artist. His favorite subjects are history, baseball and women - not necessarily in any order. He's never at a loss for a new project. "It's as if God leaves notes on my forehead after a night's rest." His mask dates to Ancient Greek Tragedies. "I tried to imagine how the Ancients would have prepared a mask if they had today's technology." The metal look, assembled with screws, mixes the appearance of tight tolerances with the freedoms of the past.
