Lori Nelson-Carothers of the Denver Hospice has been an artist for more than 10 years, working in several media, including pottery, acrylic and stone sculpture. She salvages concepts and retools them to make them beautiful. She has taught pottery and painting to a wide range of students from youth to seniors. She also has worked with welding and sewing in her world of art. She is volunteer coordinator at The Denver Hospice. Her mask is titled, "The Hope."
