Description
Denver artist Lulu Bosick started painting at a young age and enjoys painting abstracts. In 2008 when her mother was battling colon cancer, her family turned to hospice care. "I will forever be grateful to hospice for their kindness and support and allowing us to grieve and teach us how to take care of our dying mother until the end of her life." Her mask, "Life & Fire," is in memory of her mother, Luz Maria Perez Crespo. The left side reflects her mother who was always bright and shiny; the right side, "Fire" represents the cancer that spread like fire through her body.
