Shelly Thomas & Erin Lea-Dougherty, front-desk guest services agents at Denver's Magnolia Hotel, created "Tree of Life," using texture and color to mimic the elements of humans and nature. Both are art students at Metropolitan State College of Denver, where Shelly is a jewelry and painting major and Erin is an art education major with an emphasis on drawing.
