Description
Artist Nancy Porteous Johnson's predisposition toward people, their culture and nature is inevitable given her work with human services organizations in Boulder Colo. Now her love of people and nature shows up on the canvas. Nancy has been creating oil paintings for the past 10 years. Her mask, "Charlie," reflects the meaningful connection and unconditional love dogs offer humans. Dogs know when someone isn't feeling well and can provide a calming effect. She created her mask in memory of her father, Alfred Porteous.
