Nancy Sorenson is a local artist living just outside of Black Hawk, Colo. She earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree from Metropolitan State College, with an emphasis in pottery, minor in sculpture. Throughout her art workings, she has often mixed vastly different mediums. She finds enjoyment in the uniqueness of textures in each work she produces. Her mask, "Midsummer's Night Dream" is negative space painting of a peacock in Acrylic.
