Denver artist Katie Anderson created this mask for Rioja Restaurant where she is a manager. Katie studied sculpture at Virginia Commonwealth and moved to Colorado in 1998. She fell in love with Colorado sunsets which are represented in her mask made using dyes from turmeric, red cabbage and onion skin. Rioja Executive Chef Jennifer Jasinski donated an autographed copy of her cookbook with Rioja's mask.
