Description

Ceramic artist Sylvia Goodman created her Mask Project entry by making a copy of the mask in clay, designing a frame around it and firing in her kiln using specially-formulated glazes. Sylvia studied with Helen Giesel, Nan and Jim McKinnel, Beth Funk and Bob Smith and has participated in shows at the Jewish Community Center, the "Exhibition and Sale" at the Habitat Gallery, "Concept of Life" show at Canaan Gallery, "Myself" at the Mizel Museum, and the 13th Annual Exhibit of the National Arts Program in 2009. She currently exhibits in the South Park Art Gallery in Fairplay and is working on a show for the Southpark City Museum in Fairplay for August.
