Vuka Energy Drinks commissioned South African artist Tandi Venter to create its mask to recognize and express the origins of the Vuka brand. The company owners are both South Africans, and the name Vuka means "wake up" in Zulu, so Tandi incorporated Vuka's sun logo and African feel into the mask. Tandi Venter was born in South Africa and studied graphic design at the Johannesburg Art Foundation. Inspired by the colors and rhythms of her native country, she brings an eclectic, contemporary vision to her work.
