Michele Colburn, is an artist who currently lives in Washington, DC, and once lived in Denver, She  previously participated in the 2006 Denver Mask Project with her "Desert Girl" creation, and this year, Colburn used a seaside theme and created "Mermask." using oceans and the notion of mermaids for inspiration. Colburn primarily works in mixed media, acrylics, and oils. Her work is in private collections in AZ, MD, DC, MN, Berlin, and even in the Smithsonian's Natural History Museum.
