Description
To introduce the Montair community to the mouthwatering treats that my family and friends enjoy on a daily basis can now be available to you through Arti’s Danville Indian Kitchen. I am pleased to offer as part of the Online Auction a Dinner for Four.
Dinner will include:
- An Appetizer
- Your choice of one of the following vegetarian dishes:
o Dal Makhni (black lentils slow-cooked in a rich cream sauce)
o Sautéed Eggplant
o Shahi Paneer (Indian cottage cheese pieces cooked in a cream of tomato sauce)
o Saag Paneer (Indian cottage cheese cooked with spinach, flavored with garlic and onion)
o Capsicum Paneer (Indian cottage cheese flash fried and served with sautéed green and red bell peppers and onions)
o Curry Channas (garbanzo beans slow-cooked in a flavorful onion, garlic, ginger and tomato based sauce)
- Your choice of one of the following non-vegetarian dishes:
o Chicken Tikka Masala (chicken simmered in a sauce of tomatoes, yogurt and spices)
o Butter Chicken (as the name implies, chicken simmered in a butter and tomato based cream sauce)
o Keema Matar (ground chicken with peas in a light tomato sauce)
o Chicken Curry (a classic Indian dish with chicken in a rich tomato and onion gravy with garlic, ginger and other Indian spices)
o Fish Curry (a twist on the traditional chicken curry, but with white fish and a tomato-mustard sauce with garlic)
- Basmati Rice for four
- Rotis (a traditional flatbread from northern India)
- Raita (a soothing, yogurt-based accompaniment traditionally served alongside entrée dishes)
- Mango Lassi (essentially a yogurt smoothie) for Dessert
