Topic: Spring Cleaning
Tonics and detoxifiers - late spring is the opportune time to support the processes of cleansing and rebalancing. We will look at specific allies, such as dandelion, as well as our overall diet and processes like self-massage, fasting, particular yoga positions, etc. Go home with digestive bitters, a tincture-in-process, and a tea blend.
WK 3: May 21
Theme: EMBODY
Topic: Mandala Gardening
How do we work outside the box - in our internal and external landscapes? Explore possibilities for weaving together the sacred and mundane through participating in the visioning and creating of a mandala vegetable garden. Depending on weather, and soil and seed conditions, we will get our hands into the land with laying out beds, paths, and patterns; digging, sheet mulching, transplanting, amending soil, even singing...go home with dirt under your nails, new visions, seeds, seedlings, and cuttings for your spaces large or small, and the promise of a summer/fall share of bounty!
ALL CLASSES FRIDAYS 9am-12noon, followed by an optional potluck lunch
VITTADANA (cost or donation) $60-30 per day, sliding scale, barters considered, no-one turned away
