One of the most decorated women in competitive snowboarding, Kelly began the '09-'10 season with guns blazing -- she won four of the five Grand Prix stops, qualifying for her third Winter Olympics. The Vermont native has collected 6 WX SuperPipe medals (2 gold, 3 silver, 1 bronze), Olympic gold from the '02 Games, an ESPY for 2002 Action Sport Athlete of the Year and has won the Grand Prix Halfpipe title each of the past four years. The '08-'09 season was her best competitive year to date: she entered 16 contests and earned a podium at every single one, winning over half of them. She also took the Grand Prix, TTR and Dew Tour Halfpipe titles. She enters '09-'10 feeling that her riding and mental game are stronger than ever; she spent the past year working on her riding "foundation" and no longer feels that she needs to live up to any expectations...she's "already winning."
