Two-night stay, including breakfast, at our lakeside cottage on Maine's Belgrade Lakes chain this summer. Boating, swimming, hiking, ospreys, herons, loons and eagles. Unique location near colleges and museums, antiques and auctions, avant-garde film theater and capital.
Accommodations for two in comfortable private cottage with 3/4 bath adjacent to main house. No smoking allowed on property.
Special Instructions
Mail comes by boat -- our lake was the basis of "On Golden Pond." Mail boat tour available that includes author's home.
Many writers have spent time on these lakes, including Eugene O'Neill and E. B. White
Good hospitality; amazing sunsets.
