Born in 1967 in Florida, Tom Gordon is known for his skill as a Major League Baseball pitcher. "Flash" Gordon played baseball in high school, preparing himself for the major league career that started in 1988 when he joined the Kansas City Royals. Since then he has also played with the Boston Red Sox, the Chicago Cubs, the Houston Astros, the Chicago White Sox, the New York Yankees, the Philadelphia Phillies, and the Arizona Diamondbacks. While playing with the Phillies in 2008 he helped the team earn the World Series Championship. He is also the only pitcher in MLB history with 100 wins, saves, and holds. Currently a free agent in the MLB, Gordon has continued his legacy within the family, as his son Devaris Strange-Gordon is a shortstop with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
