Jerry Traunfeld is  an American chef and author, and was the executive chef of The Herbfarm restaurant in Woodinville, Washington from 1990 to 2007. Traunfeld was the 2000 winner of the James Beard Award for "Best American Chef: Northwest and Hawaii."   He has appeared on Martha Stewart Living, Better Homes and Gardens, The Splendid Table and other American television and radio programs including Top Chef Masters, in April 2010.
