Description

You are bidding on 4 Unique Bottles of French Wine, as follows:

Flavors from the French Vines

Domaine Du Bagnol Cassis Rose, 2009. From the steeply canted jewel of a port on the Mediterranean east of Marseilles comes this rose wine with an enticing perfume of rose petals and strawberries. But what sets this rose apart is its wonderful depth and complexity, and its bone-dry finish of earth and stone.

Gerard Boulay Sancerre Chavignol Rose, 2009, from 35 to 40 year-old Pinot Noir vines located on the steep clay hillside in front of the winemaker's house. Boulay produces less than 200 cases of this wine)

Chateau Les Ormes De Pez, St-Estephe, 1983, according to Robert Parker: "very deeply colored, with a fat, ripe, round, richly fruity character, this full-bodied, well-made wine has good, silky but substabtial tannbins and low acidity. Anticipated maturity: Now." (01/98)

Domaine de la Bastide Blanche Bandol, 2006, 92 points Wine Spectator: "A powerful red, with intense red and dark fruit flavors, including fig, dark plum and raspberry, infused with notes of baker's chocolate and black olive"
