Time to saddle up the family and head to Colorado for a Dude Ranch experience! This package is for 6 people to stay 6 nights at Lake Mancos Ranch in Mancos Colorado.
Included is all meals, cabin lodging, wranglers, horseback riding, swimming, cookouts, fishing, children's activities with counsleors and free transportation from either Durango or Cortez airport to the ranch. A great family summer trip!!!
HIGHLIGHTS OF A TYPICAL WEEK AT THE RANCH (FAMILY SEASON)
Sunday: Arrival and check-in between 2 and 4. Several orientation and get acquainted programs are planned. Your first ranch dinner is a steak fry.
Monday: Saddle up and ride! A sight seeing trip into the San Juan National Forest is an option. In the evening the recreation crew plans a hot dog cookout with S’mores or a pizza party for their children’s groups. Adults can relax with their own campfire dessert.
Tuesday: A morning ride will end up at our noon cookout. Fishing is on the children’s schedule. Other options for the afternoon include riding lessons, or trail rides. After dinner children camp out under the stars. Musical entertainment may be planned at the lodge.
Wednesday: This is a family day! Choose from activities such as team penning, gold panning, hiking, biking, rafting, more fishing and family trail rides. All can join in the family games on the lawn after dinner.
Thursday: A morning breakfast cookout at Indian Village gets the day started in cowboy style. Later a rodeo will give the children a chance to show you how they can ride. Team penning competition is after kids rodeo.Ride the Chicken Creek Trail in the afternoon. Friday: Sign up for a challenging all day ride or shorter rides. A van trip to Mesa Verde is an option. Join our family for a pre-dinner get together. After dinner we wind up the week with some wrangler awards and skits planned by the children.
Saturday: After a hearty breakfast and tearful good-byes, you’re on your way to other scenic attractions in the area or your journey home.

• VALID May 30, 2010 to August 14, 2010. Reservations MUST be made by May 30, 2010.
• Check in is after 2pm on Sunday. Check out is after breakfast the following Saturday.
• Accommodations are not guaranteed but are subject to Space Availability.
• This Ranch Vacation Certificate expires on August 14, 2010 and is non transferable.
• All cabin accommodations include Living Room, Porch, Master Bedroom with private bathroom and king bed Plus a second bedroom with twin beds and private bathroom.
• In addition your cabin will include either two bunk beds or a convertible Queen sofa bed.
• Colorado taxes are $183.75. Optional Gratuities not included.
• Children must be at least 6 years old to Trail Ride.
• Ranch reserves the right to refuse any person from Trail Riding.
• Riding Helmets are not supplied but guests are encouraged to bring their own.
• Airport Transfers provided from Durango at an additional cost of $20 PP each way.
• *$525 Resort Fee contributes to national Forest and State Park Trail Riding fees.
