Vintage 2008 Acacia Lone Tree Vineyard Pinto Noir

This small production, wine is a blend of the best wines Pinot Noir wines from the Acacia Estate in 2007. The blend includes the Swan clone – for delicacy and perfume, the Hanzel selection for aroma, depth and flavor, the Mt. Eden selection for complexity, and the Pommard clone for structure and length. This is an extremely fragrant and rich Pinot Noir wine – it is forthcoming with Rose, violet perform, fruit aromas and flavors, earth and herbal complexity, and fine tannins. Drink now to 2014.

Acacia’s 100+ acre estate Lone Tree Vineyard sits atop the hills surrounding the winery. A Lone Acacia Tree rises out of the Pinot Noir vines. This vineyard is Acacia's crown jewel of Pinot Noir. Planted over the last ten years, the vineyard is divided into eight blocks, each divided into multiple sub-blocks.
