Description
What mammal has a shield of tough leathery skin, strong claws for digging and burrowing and a long tongue for slurping insects? You guessed it – an armadillo! You and five (5) guests will get to meet AND feed the education department’s armadillo ambassador – Sheldon! See firsthand just how industrious, creative and charming he can be.
Special Instructions
Advanced scheduling of at least two weeks is required and is based on availability of Zoo staff, Sheldon and Zoo facilities. Meet and greet is for six individuals. Please note: this 30 minute encounter includes time spent speaking with his handler. The amount of interaction with Sheldon is dependent on his temperament (armadillos, like us, have good and bad days!).
