The Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular is a unique illuminated art show set on a charming, winding woodland trail inside Roger Williams Park Zoo. A team of professional pumpkin carvers spend six weeks creating the trail, resulting in a truly breathtaking display featuring about 5,000 pumpkins at any one time. Most will be carved and illuminated, with hundreds created in painstaking detail and amazing artistry.  

This Halloween hotspot, family friendly and wheelchair/stroller accessible, has been commended by the U.S. Library of Congress, featured by Good Morning America, USA Today and CNN and hailed by the Associated Press as “extraordinary.” In 2009, when over 80,000 people attended the event, it was featured in ABC News’ “America's 11 Spookiest Halloween Destinations” and in Rachel Ray magazine.
