This look was high style at the time of the Universal Exposition, or World's Fair in Paris in 1889! The inscription at the bottom of this page from Le Luxe, published in Paris and edited by L. Michau, shows that this design, K3, won an honorable mention. This hand-colored lithograph is in mint condition, measuring 11" x 8". Matted in museum board and measures 20" x 16" in its natural wood frame. It was donated by Stephen and Julia Brigidi of the Bristol Workshops in Photography, Bristol, RI.
