One secret to good photography is to keep your eyes open, your equipment ready, and to shoot when the picture presents itself. That’s just what Rhode Island PBS producer/director Pablo Mijares did to get this photo.

There’s no trick photography here and no, you didn’t miss the news about a recent disaster nearby. The steep apparent angle of the plane is the result of it being in a banked turn while approaching T.F. Green airport and its relationship to where Pablo was standing!
