Coro Allegro is a not-for-profit classical music organization composed of members and friends of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities. Coro Allegro is dedicated to the performance of significant choral works for the enjoyment of all. 

Coro Allegro was founded in 1990 to provide Boston with a GLBT chorus specializing in classical repertoire.  Initially composed of 20 singers, Coro has grown to more than 60 members and -- under the direction of David Hodgkins -- has become one of Boston's most highly regarded choral ensembles.
