On July 4, 1939, Lou Gehrig delivered his, now infamous, retirement speech after learning of his debilitating disease. Despite his bad break. He still proclaimed to be the luckiest man on the face of this earth. This collectors tribute features the famous photo of Gehrig's address, along with the entire text of his speech Framed Lou Gehrig photograph with his 1939 Retirement speech.  Truly an inspirational testiment to the man's many gifts.  Frame is approx. 32" x 20".
