Panoramic lithograph from the December 5th, 2009 game at

legendary Rupp arena between 2 of college basketball's most

storied universities…the Kentucky Wildcats and the North

Carolina Tarheels. Both teams were fast approaching the

historic 2,000th win with Carolina just a few games behind UK.

The Wildcats won this game 68-66 and then on the 21st of

December, they defeated Drexel University 88-44, becoming the

1st college basketball program to win 2,000 games. On this

day their overall record for the past 107 seasons is 2000-635-1.
