Artist Statement:  Creating harmony is always the intention. Harmony in terms of this work signifies spiritual awareness, connection and balance. To accept the colors and marks that appear on my canvases as sign posts and to bring them to a harmonized resolve can seem like a journey in the dark; a process that teaches trust and offers gifts that are not always visual. When painting manifests these truths, it acts as a guide and a teacher. It leads us to the light.
