Private Barrel Tasting with appetizers for a party of 8 guests AND a 750ml bottle of their Vieille Vignes 2007 Syrah ($42)

You are bidding on a private barrel tasting and tour with Tracey and/or Jared Brandt, the winemakers/proprietors at A Donkey and Goat winery in Berkeley.  Original certificate must be presented at time of tour.  We will bend your ear about all things grape, taste from our barrels of Rhône varietals and Chardonnay and then taste the new wines in our Spring Release.  This private tasting event will include a 10% off all purchases. 

Contrary to the first impression, A Donkey and Goat wines are serious wines made by Tracey and Jared Brandt, the wife and husband duo that try not to take themselves too seriously. Believing the American dream obtainable, they left the fast track and rolled up their sleeves in 2004 to build their winery from scratch, starting with a little savings and a great deal of optimism. Today they produce 2000 cases in their Berkeley winery where they focus on Rhône varietals and Chardonnay from organic and sustainable California vineyards. Their wines can be found at many fine restaurants locally and around the country and now the globe with exports in Japan and Denmark.
