An Elegant Brunch In An Historic Julia Morgan Home Julia Morgan, the first woman architect in California, architect for William Randolph Hearst’s San Simeon Castle, and arguably the most famous woman architect in US history, designed and oversaw the construction of an elegant home in Berkeley in 1928. This home is now owned by ALF Class I member, Don Brown and his wife, Carol Anne.


The Browns, joined by ALF Class I member Dennis Mangers (Special Assistant to Senator Darrell Steinberg) and his partner, Michael Sestak, will serve a Sumptuous Champagne Brunch for up to 12 people on Saturday, August 21, at 11 AM. Seating for 12 can be filled by groups or individuals until all 12 seats are taken.
