Family Membership is for 2 adults and kids under 18 living in their household.  Benefits include unlimited, free admission to the Museum, free admission to Planetarium shows, discounts on public programs, 10% discount at the Museum gift shop, invitations to members-only Museum events, and free or reduced admission to other museums in VT or the U.S.

Collections at the Fairbanks Museum include some 175,000 objects including natural science specimens, historical artifacts and ethnological items representing Oceania, the Near East, Africa, Egypt, Japan and native North America.


The only public planetarium in the state of Vermont gives guided tours of the cosmos every week: September through June: Saturdays and Sundays at 1:30 p.m.July through August: 11 am Monday through Friday, and at 1:30 p.m. everyday

The Fairbanks Museum also hosts a variety of events, festivals, programs, lectures and workshops that engage visitors of all ages.
