Description
You are bidding on a lot of five Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) baby gowns, designed and created by Patti Allen, using the specs of nurses who work at the famed NICU at Grady memorial Hospital in Atlanta Georgia. NICU Babies are often so small and arrive so unexpectedly, that it is difficult to find something for them to wear. Others have no home to go to, or no one to buy or make that first little special garmet, or they do not survive, and there is need for a tiny burial gown. There is a great demand for gowns for these little ones--to keep them warm so that they can save their energy for growing, to dress them so that they look more like "typical babies" to their worried parents, frightened by the sight of tubes and monitors, to provide clothing for infants ready to go home and to ease the hearts of grieving parents.
The winner will have te honor of donating these to a hospital of their choice in their name, or in honor or memory of whomever they wish to designate.
Good luck to all on bidding and congratulations to the one who has the heart to help these tiny babies get a head start on life. Thank you for your contribution, both to Research Down Syndrome and the NICU babies.
