This " Blue Scallop" hand-painted 11" plate features Sigrid's signature cool hues and one of her much beloved island/seaside motifs...the scallop shell.

Each plate is painted by hand and then inscribed with a sgraffito tool to add definition before firing. Sigrid Olsen, well-known as a textile and fashion designer, has returned to her roots as a painter and printmaker.
