For the backcountry enthusiast! Get the skills and knowledge you will need to survive in Utah's wild outdoors.

The Wilderness Advanced First Aid (WAFA) course is a 40 hour course designed for recreationists and outdoor professionals who require an advanced level of wilderness first aid training.  The longer format allows more time for hands-on practical experience, leadership training, differential diagnosis, environmental injuries and a deeper understanding of the incident command structure.

Topics Include:

- Experiential hands-on training, a mixture of lecture, discussion and practical outdoor scenarios.

- Complies with federal OSHA regulatory requirements  

- 3 year certification through the Emergency Care and Safety Institute
