Description
Take a collaborative approach to interior design with the SLCC Design Program graduating class and they'll decorate and plan your home the way you've always wanted to.
The designers will first conduct an interview where they will get to know your personal style. They will then begin developing the floor & design plans and continue with finding curtains, furniture, and floor & paint samples that fit within your budget and style. By the end of this process you will have a solid idea of what your home could look like as well as all the prices and places to buy the things they used for your design.
Special Instructions
Any item used in the design is not provided as this is only a consultation, however a spreadsheet of all design elements will be provided. This spreadsheet will include prices and locations. Contact must be made by August 4th. This is a 17 week process that will start on August 25th, 2010 to December 10th, equivalent to 45 hours of work. Construction costs will not be dealt with during the consultations as this is a design class.
Kitchens are the only exception. The students do not have the resources for cabnentry, fixtures, ect.
Please keep in mind that this is a classroom/student project. The students just won't have the same time and resources as interior designers.
