Win a free registration for the Hazon CSA Conference, taking place December 9-12, 2010 at the Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center in Connecticut. Hazon's Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program enables the Jewish community to support local, sustainable agriculture. It is the first Jewish CSA Project in North America, where individuals pre-purchase a share of a farmer’s produce for an entire season.

The conference is geared toward Hazon CSA members, CSA members in general, and the growing Jewish CSA movement. 160 participants will learn new DIY skills for using their CSA shares, attend cooking demonstrations, connect with entrepreneurs who are expanding the CSA model to include shares for kosher meat, bread, and cheese, gain skills on how to improve the management of their CSAs, and learn from the people who grow our food the farmers.
