The design of our Tiffany Inlaid Tile Pendant is based on the decorative border of Garden Landscape, Louis Comfort Tiffany's (American, 1848–1933) tour de force glass mosaic made about 1905–15. By freeing the glass from traditional shapes and colors, Tiffany created extraordinary and luminous mosaic imagery that was unrealizable until that time. The lush, romantic landscape is framed by a geometric ornamental border dominated by greens and blues set against a shimmering gold-foil-backed textured glass.
