At North House Folk School, situated on Minnesota's North Shore of Lake Superiour and at the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Wilderness Area.  Their campus is located harbor side in the vibrant, artistic village of Grand Marias, Minnesota.

A number of colorful timbered structures on the harbor serve as classrooms.  An outdoor masonary oven, blacksmith's shop and community fire ring are scattered amidst a central courtyard.  Small, handcrafted wooden boats line the beach and their 50' schooner is docked at the water's edge.

This $75 gift certificate is good towards any two or three day class for individuals age 18 and older.  Classes include: basketry, boatbuilding, clothing, fiber arts, foods, jewelry, knitting, music, northern ecology, outdoor skills and travel, painting and photography, sailing, shelter, sustainable living, timber framing, tool making, traditional crafts, woodcarving, and woodworking.
