This box may be small, but it is sturdy.  From top to bottom it is 18" tall x 8 3/4" wide x 7" deep.  The lid is hinged with two black wrought iron hinges.  It is a light brwon and has a male cardinal stenciled on the front.  Apartment dwellers will find this very handy to store bird seed - but you can use it for whatever you like - and you will find many uses for this cute little box.
